We plan each event in advance to ensure we have the appropriate number of staff members and adequate ballroom space to accommodate each group.
Our preparations are based on the number of confirmed attendees for each event. Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to change your registration.
We understand that unexpected events, circumstances, or personal emergencies may prevent you from attending Love Recon programs. If you need to cancel your registration, we provide several options.
Refund, Transfer, and Cancellation Policy
All refund, transfer, and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Refund Payments:
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method as your original registration payment.
- Credit Card Payments: We will issue a refund as a credit to your account within 5 to 7 business days after receiving your written notice.
- Payments via Check or E-Check: We will issue a refund via check within 7 days after receiving your written notice and once your original check has cleared our bank.
Refund Payment Exceptions:
- Credit Card Payments: You will be issued a check if your credit card company does not accept the credit due to a closed account or the time elapsed since your payment.
- Check and E-Check Payments: Once your original check has cleared our bank, payment will be issued within 7 days of your request.
Please note:
- No refund will be issued for scholarships received from Love Recon.
- No refund will be issued for registration fees paid by a program sponsor. However, your sponsor may use the funds to sponsor another person in your place.
We provide several options to accommodate you if you cannot attend the event you registered for.
Cancellation Refunds:
Cancellations must be made in writing. You may email Lisa at lisa@loverecon.org
- All cancellations will forfeit any partial scholarships that may have been granted to you.
- You may request a full refund minus the $100.00 non-refundable registration and processing fee. To be valid, cancellations must be made in writing 8 days before the first day of the event you registered for.
- You may request a refund, minus 50% of your registration fee, for cancellations made within 7 days of the first day of the event you registered for.
- No refunds will be granted for cancellations made on the day of the scheduled event or for “no-shows.”
- If you cancel on the day the event starts and wish to attend in the future, you may transfer your registration fee to another event. No refund will be given. Note: You must attend within one year of your original registration date, or the funds will be surrendered, and no refund will be given.
Transfer Request:
- All Transfer requests must be made in writing. You may email Lisa at lisa@loverecon.org. If you have questions, please feel free to call 866-218-1716.
- You can apply your full payment as a credit toward a future date and/or location without any fees or penalties. Transfer requests must be made no later than the day you are registered to attend.
- We will transfer your registration without penalty or fees up to 2 times to an alternate event that better fits your schedule. However, your request must be made 10 days before your scheduled event. Changes beyond 2 times will result in the forfeiture of your payment and/or all scholarship funds granted to you.
- Once a transfer request is granted, we will move your registration to the selected event and send you an email confirmation.
- Optional Transfer: You may transfer your registration and apply the funds to another person or couple for a future date and/or location. You must contact us with the name change at least 10 days before the first day of the event you registered for. Transfers to another person are still subject to all transfer and refund policies. No funds will be refunded to a transferee.
- Transfer Options must be used within one year of your original registered event date. Otherwise, you will forfeit your payment and/or all scholarship funds granted to you.
Cancellation by Love Recon:
- Love Recon reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances that make the event non-viable.
- If Love Recon cancels an event, registrants will receive a full refund.
- If circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, Love Recon has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at a new, future date.
- If Love Recon cancels or postpones an event, Love Recon is not responsible for non-refundable fees resulting from the cancellation of hotel rooms and/or airfare.
- Love Recon will attempt to contact all registrants via email and/or by phone to notify them of any changes in date, venue, or cancellation.
